Our Approach
LRM begins by performing a preliminary
study at no
cost. From this study, we are able to tell what your
operating
cost per mile should be for the age, description,
and
condition of your fleet. We determine if your
organization is using the best mix of vehicles, software, labor,
and
material handling tools to realize your
requirements.
We then submit a proposal identifying potential
savings and opportunities.
Upon completion of the preliminary study,
LRM will present a detailed analysis of any potential
'in-system'
improvement and cost reductions. Should this
information
be of value to you, we would then prepare a
proposal
outlining the significant areas including an action
plan, goals/objectives, timelines and any associated fees.

As a client, we then delve more deeply into
your
operation. Task-related time lines are
followed. Periodic status reports and recommendations
are
delivered. We implement our recommendations
in
concert with your management. At the end of
our
engagement, LRM presents a final,
comprehensive report of our findings, recommendations,
and implementations. Our offering is without risk,
yet could yield very significant rewards for your company.
Choose LRM as your distribution partner!
Our Capabilities
Whatever the scope of your organization's transportation and distribution
network, LRM can determine your best
delivery options. Our expertise in
Equipment
(Acquisition, Leasing & Maintenance), Finance, Logistics Planning, M.I.S., and Warehousing, will turn your
distribution network into an asset
rather than a liability. LRM addresses some of our clients' toughest
distribution
issues, such as:
R
How
can we reduce the maintenance cost of our equipment?
R
How many vehicles does our company or agency
really need?
R
Is there a better way to distribute our
product(s)?
R
Can we lower our full service leasing costs
?
R
What new technology should our organization
be utilizing?
R
Can we improve the productivity and service level
of our warehouse?
R
Should we use private,
for-hire, rail carriage, or a combination?
Our Associates
Many companies have personnel who are fully capable
of performing some of
these tasks quite effectively. Rare is the company, however, that employs
those individuals with 'top-notch' expertise in all of these areas.
Our success is due in great measure to the wide varied qualifications of our
associates, who, collectively, have amassed just such broad operational
experience. Some of our associates have worked with leaders in the equipment leasing and maintenance industry and include
companies such as Ryder
Systems, U.P.S., Rollins National Lease, Penske Common Carrier Association to
name a few. Other associates have gained extensive experience in fleet
design, distribution, warehousing and
administration while affiliated with such
major industrial corporations as Champion International Corporation, Yellow
Freight Systems, Comdata Corporation, U.S.
Surgical Corporation, Coca Cola,
Atlantic Richfield Corporation, U.P.S., and the Stop and Shop
Stores. As LRM grows, we continue to add additional expertise in all
areas of supply chain management activities, further broadening the scope of
LRM s
services.
Our associates are all seasoned professionals with
a vast array of executive management experience. LRM
is a quantum leap ahead of other consulting firms in
its professional ability to not only make
the recommendations, but to implement them as well.
